Rye Rolls With Sunflower Seeds - cooking recipe

1 cup all purpose flour
1 cup rye flour
1 1/2 tsp dried yeast
1/2 tsp sugar
2 tsp salt
3/4 cup sunflower seeds
Preparation

Preheat the oven to 425\u00b0F. Mix the flours, yeast, sugar and salt in a bowl. Stir in 1 2/3 cups of lukewarm water and knead together to make a smooth dough. Cover and leave in a warm place to rise for 1 hour.
Turn out onto a floured surface and knead gently, incorporating 2/3 of the sunflower seeds as you go. Divide into 15 pieces (about 3 oz each) and shape into round rolls. Place on 2 baking sheets lined with parchment paper. Brush with a little water and top with the remaining seeds. Cover and leave to rise for a further 45-60 mins.
Bake, one baking sheet at a time, for about 18 mins. Leave to cool on a wire rack.
