Herbed Pasta - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    12 oz fettuccine
    1 tbsp olive oil
    1 None small onion, minced
    1 clove garlic, minced
    1/4 cup white wine
    2/3 cup chicken broth
    1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
    1 tsp chopped fresh thyme
    2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
    None None fresh chives, for garnish
Preparation
    Cook fettuccine in boiling salted water until al dente. Set aside.
    Meanwhile, heat oil over medium heat. Cook onion, covered, for 3 mins, or until tender. Add garlic and white wine. Cook for 1 min. Add chicken broth, cooked pasta and herbs. Cook for 1 min. Season. Toss with cheese. Serve immediately, garnished with fresh chives.
