Lentil And Potato Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 tbsp butter
    2 None medium onions, peeled and finely chopped
    2 cloves garlic, peeled and crushed
    1 None red chili, deseeded and cut into thin rings
    1 tbsp curry powder
    6 1/2 cups vegetable stock
    1 2/3 lbs potatoes, peeled and cut into sticks
    10.5 oz celery, sliced, few leaves reserved for garnish
    2/3 cup red lentils
    None None Whole chilies, for garnish
Preparation
    Melt the butter in a saucepan and saute the onions, garlic and chili for 2 mins. Sprinkle with the curry powder and saute for 1 min. Add the stock, potatoes and celery, bring to a boil, cover and simmer for 10 mins. Add the lentils and cook for 12 mins. Season to taste. Ladle into bowls and garnish with celery leaves and whole chilies.
