Lasagne - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 tbsp vegetable oil
    1 small onion, finely chopped
    1/2 medium carrot, coarsely grated
    1 None celery stick, finely chopped
    2 tbsp tomato paste
    12 oz lean ground beef
    1 1/2 cups jarred tomato pasta sauce
    2 tbsp butter
    2 tbsp flour
    1 1/4 cups milk
    3 None fresh lasagne sheets
    1/4 cup grated mozzarella cheese
    2 tbsp finely grated Parmesan cheese
    None None Mixed salad, to serve
Preparation
    Combine oil, onion, carrot and celery in a 3-quart microwave-safe bowl. Microwave on high (100%) for 4 mins or until vegetables soften. Stir in tomato paste. Microwave on high for 1 min more.
    Add ground beef to vegetable mixture; stir to combine. Microwave on high for 4 mins or until beef is cooked through. Add pasta sauce, stirring to break up lumps. Microwave on high for 3-4 mins or until sauce thickens slightly. Let stand for 10 mins.
    Place butter in a 4-cup microwave-safe measuring cup. Microwave on high for 1 min or until butter melts. Stir in flour; microwave on high for 40 seconds. Gradually add milk, whisking constantly until well combined. Microwave on high for 1 min. Whisk; microwave on high for 1 min more or until sauce boils and thickens.
    Spread 1/3 cup meat sauce into a 5-cup, 2 3/4 inch-deep, 8 x 4-inch silicone loaf pan. Cover with a sheet of pasta, trimming to fit. Spread 1/3 of the remaining meat sauce over pasta sheet. Spread with 2 tbsp white sauce. Cover with another layer of pasta.
    Repeat layering twice more, finishing with a layer of pasta. Spread remaining white sauce over lasagne. Sprinkle with mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses. Microwave on high for 2 mins.
    Preheat broiler to high. Broil lasagne for 2 mins or until golden. Let stand for 2 mins. Serve with salad.
