Lemon Sour Cream Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 tbsp butter, at room temperature
    1 cup granulated sugar
    2 None eggs
    1 None lemon, peel finely grated and lemon juiced
    1 cup self-rising flour, sifted
    1/2 cup sour cream
    None None Powdered sugar, to dust
    None None Whipped cream, to serve
Preparation
    Preheat the oven to 325\u00b0F. Lightly grease and line an 8-inch square baking pan with parchment paper.
    Beat butter and granulated sugar in a large bowl with an electric mixer until pale and creamy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Beat in lemon peel.
    Fold in flour alternately with combined sour cream and lemon juice. Pour into prepared pan.
    Bake 35-40 mins, until toothpick inserted into center comes out clean. Cool in pan 5 mins. Remove from pan; cool completely on wire rack. Dust with powdered sugar. Serve with whipped cream.
