Pear And Rhubarb Crumble With Almond And Oat Topping - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 None pears, peeled, cored and sliced
    1/2 cup granulated sugar
    1 None lemon, juiced
    1 lb fresh or frozen rhubarb pieces
    1 cup rolled oats
    1/2 cup packed brown sugar
    3 tbsp butter, melted
    1/3 cup sliced almonds
    None None Ice cream, to serve
Preparation
    Preheat the oven to 350\u00b0F. Grease a 1 1/2-quart baking dish.
    Cook pears, granulated sugar and lemon juice in a large saucepan on medium heat for 4-5 mins, stirring, until tender. Add rhubarb and cook for 3-4 mins, until fruit is soft but still holding its shape.
    With a slotted spoon, transfer fruit from syrup to prepared dish. Taste and sprinkle with a little additional sugar if needed.
    Meanwhile, combine oats, brown sugar, butter and almonds in a bowl. Sprinkle over fruit.
    Bake for 30 mins, until golden and bubbling. Serve with ice cream.
