Cheddar And Thyme Twists - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 cup flour
    1/2 cup self-rising flour
    14 tbsp (1 3/4 sticks) butter, frozen
    1 tbsp thyme leaves
    2/3 cup grated sharp Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Sift flours into a bowl. Coarsely grate butter over flour, then stir in thyme. Stir in 2/3 cup iced water until mixture starts to come together. Knead for 1 min or until dough forms.
    Scrape dough onto a lightly floured surface. Divide dough in half. Roll out each piece to a 12 x 8 inch rectangle. Sprinkle with half the cheese, pressing cheese into the dough. Fold in half to enclose filling. Reroll dough to a 16 x 6 inch rectangle. Repeat with remaining dough and cheese.
    Cut dough crosswise into 3/4 inch strips. Twist strips. Transfer to 2 baking sheets lined with parchment paper. Refrigerate for 30 mins.
    Preheat the oven to 375\u00b0F. Bake for 20 mins or until golden and crisp, swapping trays halfway through cooking.
