Green Bean And Fava Salad With Lemon Zest And Almonds - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    14 oz green beans, trimmed (about 3 2/3 cups)
    3 oz frozen fava beans, shelled (about 1/2 cup)
    2 tbsp olive oil
    2 cloves garlic, minced
    None None Finely grated zest of 1 lemon
    2 tbsp slivered almonds, toasted
    2 tbsp chopped parsley
Preparation
    Bring a pan of water to a boil. Add beans and cook for 2-3 mins until tender-crisp and bright green. Drain well. Transfer to a bowl.
    Combine oil, garlic, and zest, add to beans and season to taste; toss for 1 min. Serve sprinkled with almonds and parsley.
