Rose Martinis - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 cup sugar
    2 cups vodka
    2 tbsp cranberry juice
    1/2 tsp rosewater
    None None Crushed ice
    None None Fresh rose petals, to serve
Preparation
    Combine sugar and 1/2 cup water in a saucepan and heat until sugar is dissolved. Remove from heat and cool.
    Place the sugar syrup, vodka, cranberry juice and rosewater into a cocktail shaker with plenty of ice and shake well to combine.
    To serve, strain into a chilled martini glass and garnish with rose petals.
