Hot Cross Bun French Toast With Sliced Fruit - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 None eggs
    1/2 cup milk
    1 tsp vanilla extract
    4 None hot cross buns, halved
    4 1/2 tbsp butter
    None None sliced banana, to serve
    None None strawberries, to serve
    None None maple syrup, to serve
Preparation
    Whisk together eggs, milk and vanilla. Dip hot cross buns into egg mixture.
    Heat butter in a large frying pan over medium heat. Working in batches, cook buns for 2-3 mins per side, until golden.
    Serve with fruit, drizzled with maple syrup.
