Chicken Drumsticks With Sesame Carrots - cooking recipe

1/2 tsp paprika
3 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp honey
8 None chicken drumsticks
3 tbsp sesame seeds
1 lb carrots, peeled and julienned
2 pinches sugar
1/2 lb instant white rice
2/3 cup sour cream
2 tbsp milk
5 stems parsley, finely chopped
6 None chives, sliced thinly
1 tsp cider vinegar
Preparation

Preheat the oven to 375\u00b0F. Mix the paprika with 2 tbsp of oil and the honey. Season to taste and rub the mixture into the chicken drumsticks. Put them in a large, ovenproof dish and bake for about 45 mins.
Meanwhile, to make the carrots, toast the sesame seeds in a frying pan, then remove them and leave them to cool. Heat 1 tbsp of oil in a saucepan and saute the carrots for 2 mins. Add 1/2 cup of water and a pinch of sugar and season to taste. Simmer for 5-7 mins, then toss with the sesame seeds and keep warm.
Prepare the rice according to the package instructions and keep warm.
To make the dipping sauce, mix the sour cream and milk until smooth. Stir in the parsley and chives and add the vinegar and a pinch of sugar and season to taste. Serve with the drumsticks, rice and carrots.
