Caramel Blondies - cooking recipe

11 tbsp butter, chopped
1/2 cup milk
10 oz white chocolate, finely chopped
1 cup brown sugar
4 large eggs, lightly whisked
2 1/2 cups all purpose flour
1/2 cup self-raising flour
7 oz caramel fudge chopped

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0F. Grease and line a 9 inch square cake pan with baking paper, extending paper at 2 opposite sides for handles.
Place butter, milk and 7 oz of the chocolate in a medium heavy-based saucepan over moderately low heat. Cook and stir for 5 minutes or until melted and smooth. Remove pan from heat. Set aside for 5 minutes to cool.
Whisk sugar and egg into chocolate mixture. Fold in flours, then caramel fudge and remaining chocolate until just combined. Pour into prepared pan and the level surface.
Bake for 45-50 minutes or until a skewer inserted at center comes out fudgey. Cool completely in pan (blondie will firm). Cut into pieces to serve.
