Pastitsio (Baked Pasta With Lamb Bolognese) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 tbsp olive oil
    1 None onion, chopped
    1 clove garlic, minced
    1 lb ground lamb
    2 cups tomato sauce
    1/2 tsp dried oregano
    1/4 tsp cinnamon
    1/3 cup Parmesan cheese, grated + 3 tbsp
    4 oz macaroni
    3.5 oz broccoli florets
    5 tbsp butter
    1/4 cup all-purpose flour
    2 cups milk
    3 tbsp Cheddar cheese, grated
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0F. Lightly grease a large baking dish.
    Heat olive oil in a large frying pan over high heat. Saute onion and garlic for 2 mins, until tender. Add lamb and brown for 5 mins, breaking up lumps. Add tomato sauce, oregano and cinnamon. Cook over medium heat for 8-10 mins, until most liquid has evaporated. Allow to cool.
    Add 1/3 cup Parmesan and transfer to prepared dish.
    Meanwhile, cook macaroni in boiling, salted water for 7 mins. Add broccoli and cook for 3 mins, or until pasta is al dente. Drain and toss with bolognese.
    Melt butter in a medium saucepan over high heat. Add flour and cook, stirring, for 1 min. Gradually whisk in milk, stirring until combined. Bring to a boil, stirring, then reduce heat and simmer for 3 mins. Pour over pasta mixture. Sprinkle with Cheddar and remaining Parmesan cheese. Bake for 20-25 mins.
