    1/3 cup maple syrup
    2 tbsp Dijon mustard
    2 tsp grated fresh ginger
    2 tsp orange zest
    1 tbsp orange juice
    3 cloves garlic, chopped
2 lbs pork chops, cut into long, thin strips
8 oz wild rice and white rice blend
    1 tbsp vegetable oil
    2 tbsp butter
    6 None spring onions, sliced
1 None orange, cut into wedges
Preparation
For the glaze, mix maple syrup, mustard, ginger, orange zest, orange juice and 2 cloves garlic. Add the pork and mix well.
Prepare rice according to package instructions.
Meanwhile, heat a grill pan or grill. Thread the pork onto skewers, then brush with oil and sprinkle with salt and black pepper. Grill until browned on both sides and just cooked through. Remove from the pan and cover to keep warm.
To finish, heat the butter in a frying pan and add the spring onions and remaining garlic. Cook, stirring, until soft. Add the rice and toss until heated through. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Serve with the pork skewers and garnish with orange wedges.
