Baked Macaroni And Cheese - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 None onions, peeled and finely diced
125 g Gouda and Parmesan cheese, grated
500 g macaroni
1 jar (215g) sliced jalapenos, drained
50 g butter
50 g plain flour
750 ml milk
1 1/2 tsp medium hot mustard
125 g carrots, peeled and cut into thin strips
1 None each small red, yellow and green peppers, seeded and chopped finely
150 g radishes, sliced
1/2 None cucumber, sliced
1/2 None leafy lettuce
6-7 tbsp light balsamic vinegar
1 pinch sugar
3 tbsp olive oil
Preparation

Preheat the oven to 325\u00b0F. Grease a baking dish. Cook the pasta in boiling salted water according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
Meanwhile, melt the butter in a pan and saute the onions until soft. Add the flour and stir well. Gradually pour in the milk and bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Simmer for 3-4 mins then melt 2-3 tbsp of cheese into the sauce, add the mustard and season to taste. Add the drained macaroni and jalapenos. Put the mixture into the prepared dish, sprinkle with the remaining cheese and bake for about 20 mins.
To finish, mix the vinegar and sugar and season to taste. Drizzle in the oil and mix well. Toss with the remaining ingredients and serve in bowls with the macaroni and cheese.
