Zucchini And Ground Beef Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 tbsp oil
    1 1/3 lbs ground beef
    2 None onions, finely diced
    2 cans (14 oz) diced tomatoes
    1/4 cup chopped fresh oregano, plus additional sprigs, for garnish
    1 cup grated Cheddar cheese
    3 None zucchini, sliced
    None None Sliced baguette, to serve
Preparation
    Preheat the oven to 400\u00b0F. Heat the oil in a large skillet on high heat. Cook the ground beef for 5 mins, until crumbly. Add the onions and cook for 2 mins. Add tomatoes and oregano and simmer for 5 mins. Season with salt and black pepper. Remove from the heat. Stir in 3/4 cup of the cheese and allow to melt.
    Spread 1/3 of the ground beef mixture in a 2-quart baking dish. Top with 1/2 the zucchini slices. Repeat layers. Top with remaining ground beef mixture and 1/4 cup cheese.
    Bake for 20 mins. Garnish with additional oregano and serve with sliced baguette.
