Curried Bacon Sprouts - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
    3 tbsp butter, chopped
    2 slices bacon, finely chopped
    1/2 tsp curry powder
    1/4 cup pine nuts
Preparation
    Blanch sprouts in a saucepan of boiling water, 4-5 mins, until almost tender. Drain well.
    Melt half the butter in large skillet on high heat. Saute bacon 2-3 mins, until lightly golden.
    Add sprouts and reduce heat to medium. Saute 4-5 mins, until lightly caramelized. Stir in curry powder and pine nuts and cook 1 min more, until fragrant and nuts are lightly toasted.
    Add remaining butter to pan and toss well. Season to taste.
