Steamed Mushroom Wontons - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 oz shiitake mushrooms, finely chopped
4 oz oyster mushrooms, finely chopped
1 tbsp finely chopped fresh Thai basil
2 None spring onions, thinly sliced
2 tsp sweet soy sauce
2 cloves garlic, crushed
20 None wonton wrappers
None None soy sauce, to serve
Preparation

For the filling, combine mushrooms, basil, spring onions, sweet soy sauce and garlic in a bowl.
Using a 3 inch cutter, cut rounds from each wonton wrapper. Place 2 tsp mushroom mixture in center of each round. Brush edges with water. Fold in half to form a semicircle. Pleat or pinch edges together to seal.
Line a large bamboo steamer with parchment paper. Transfer wontons to steamer. Place over a pan of gently boiling water. Steam, covered, 4-5 mins, until translucent and tender. Serve immediately with soy sauce.
