Greek Cabbage Salad With Ground Beef And Yogurt Dressing - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1-2 cloves garlic, peeled and chopped finely
1 1/4 cups Greek yogurt
1 head cabbage, cut into thin strips
1-2 tsp sugar
8 tbsp white wine vinegar
1 None red bell pepper, deseeded and cut into thin strips
1 None yellow bell pepper, deseeded and cut into thin strips
1 None cucumber, halved and thinly sliced
1/4 lb kalamata olives
6 sprigs flat-leaf parsley, thinly sliced
4 tbsp olive oil
1-2 tbsp canola oil
1 lb ground beef
1-2 tbsp Gyros spice
1 None onion, peeled, halved and thinly sliced
None None pickled green peppers, to garnish
Preparation

Mix garlic and yogurt then set aside. Combine cabbage with sugar and vinegar and season to taste then set aside for 30 mins to marinate. Add bell peppers, cucumber, olives and parsley. Season with olive oil.
Heat canola oil in a large skillet, brown ground beef, stirring. Season with gyros spice then add to salad along with onions. Season salad to taste then garnish with seasoned yogurt and pickled green peppers. Serve remaining yogurt on the side.
