Ingredients

1/2 cup self-rising flour
1/2 cup flour
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup water
1 None egg, beaten
None None Butter, melted
None None Maple syrup, to serve
Preparation

Sift both flours into a large bowl. Whisk milk, water and egg in a medium bowl. Gradually whisk into the flour mixture, until smooth. Let stand for at least 15 mins.
Heat a non-stick skillet on medium heat. Brush lightly with melted butter. Add 1/4 cup batter to pan, swirling to coat bottom. Cook for 1-2 mins, until bubbles form on surface. Turn and cook for a further 1 min.
Repeat with the remaining batter. Serve with maple syrup.
