Fresh Orange Gelatin Wedges - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 None oranges
    1 pkg (2 1/4 tsp) unflavored gelatin
    2 tbsp sugar
    None None Orange leaves or bay leaves, to serve
Preparation
    Halve the oranges and squeeze the juice into a bowl. Scoop out and discard the flesh, keeping the halved orange shells intact. Strain the juice. If necessary, add additional orange juice to measure 1 1/4 cups.
    Pour 1/4 cup water into a small saucepan and sprinkle with the gelatin. Heat on low and stir until the gelatin dissolves. Add the strained orange juice, 1/2 cup boiling water and sugar and stir until well mixed. Cool slightly.
    Arrange the orange shells in a muffin pan. Pour juice mixture into the orange halves. Refrigerate for 3 hrs, or until set. Cut into wedges and serve decorated with the orange or bay leaves.
