Chocolate And Almond Wafers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 None egg whites
    1/2 cup sugar
    1 tbsp butter, melted
    1/3 cup plus 2 tbsp all-purpose flour, sifted
    1 tbsp cocoa powder, sifted
    3/4 cup slivered almonds, toasted
Preparation
    Trace a 8-inch circle onto two sheets of parchment and place them upside down on two baking sheets.
    Lightly whisk the egg whites, sugar and butter together. Stir in the flour and cocoa powder until smooth, then mix in the almonds. Cover and leave to stand for 20 mins.
    Preheat the oven to 325\u00b0F. Spread the mixture evenly onto each circle, then bake for 20-25 mins, until golden and crisp. Allow to cool on the trays for 5 mins. Cut each round into 12 wedges and allow to cool completely before serving.
