Creamy Rice Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 cups milk
    3.5 oz cooked long-grain white rice
    1/4 cup granulated sugar
    1 None egg, lightly beaten
    3 oz dates, chopped
    2 1/2 tbsp butter, chopped
    1 tbsp brandy
    1 tsp vanilla extract
    2/3 cup sliced almonds, toasted
    1/2 tsp cinnamon
    None None heavy cream, to serve
Preparation
    Bring milk, rice and sugar to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer, stirring occasionally, for 15-20 mins, until thick and creamy. Add egg and mix until combined. Fold in dates. Reduce heat to low and cook, stirring, for 1 min, until thickened. Add butter, brandy and vanilla. Chill until ready to serve.
    Serve sprinkled with almonds and cinnamon. Drizzle with cream.
