Layered Ice Cream Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 cups Neapolitan ice cream
    3.5 oz dark chocolate, finely chopped
    3 oz mixed glace cherries, chopped
    16 oz strawberries, 1/2 finely chopped, 1/2 halved
    5.25 oz fruit cake, chopped
Preparation
    Line base and sides of an 8 x 4 inch loaf pan with 2 layers of parchment paper. Separate ice cream flavors into 3 different bowls. Reserve in freezer.
    Fold chocolate and cherries into vanilla ice cream then transfer to prepared pan. Freeze for 15 mins, or until firm. Fold chopped strawberries into strawberry ice cream then transfer to pan. Freeze for 15 mins, or until firm. Fold fruit cake into chocolate ice cream then transfer to pan. Smooth top.
    Cover with plastic wrap and freeze for 6 hours, or until firm. Serve sliced with reserved strawberries.
