Tomato And Red Pepper Jam - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/4 lbs tomatoes, chopped
    2 None red peppers, seeded and chopped
    2 None long red chilies, chopped
    2 cloves garlic, crushed
    1 1/2 cups cider vinegar
    1 tsp salt
    1 pkg (1.75 oz) pectin
    6 1/2 cups sugar
Preparation
    Mix tomatoes, peppers, chilies and garlic in a large heavy-bottomed saucepan in high heat. Stir in vinegar and salt. Bring to boil and boil for 4-5 mins, stirring occasionally. Stir pectin. Return mixture to a boil, stirring constantly.
    Add sugar, stirring until dissolved. Return to a boil and boil exactly 1 min, stirring constantly.
    Pour into hot sterilized jars and seal immediately. Store in a cool dry place. Once opened, store in the refrigerator.
