Queen Cakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 cups self-rising flour
    2/3 cup granulated sugar
    8 tbsp (1 stick) butter, at room temperature
    3 None eggs
    1/4 cup milk
    2 tbsp currants
    None None Powdered sugar, to dust
Preparation
    Preheat the oven to 350\u00b0F. Line two 12-cup muffin pans with paper liners.
    Sift flour into a medium bowl. Add sugar, butter, eggs and milk. Beat with an electric beater on medium speed for 3 mins until smooth and pale. Stir in currants. Spoon into muffin cups.
    Bake, 15 mins, until toothpick inserted into center comes out clean. Cool in pan 5 mins. Remove from pan; cool completely on wire rack. Dust with powdered sugar to serve.
