Cinnamon Bread Pudding - cooking recipe

2 tbsp granulated sugar
1 tsp ground cinnamon
3.5 oz dried mixed fruit
8 slices bread
2 tbsp butter
2 1/2 cups skim milk
2 None eggs
1 tbsp honey, warmed
None None heavy cream, to serve (optional)
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0F. Grease a large pie dish. Place inside of a roasting pan.
Combine sugar, cinnamon and dried fruit. Spread butter over bread. Layer bread slices in prepared dish, butter-side up, sprinkling with fruit mixture between layers. Whisk together milk and eggs then pour over bread. Set aside for 30 mins.
Add enough hot water to roasting pan to come halfway up sides of pie dish. Bake for 30-40 mins, until golden brown and set in the center. Brush warmed honey over pudding. Serve with heavy cream, if desired.
