Green Bean "Casserole" - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb green beans, trimmed
    1/4 cup French fried onions
    1/4 cup fresh breadcrumbs
    2 tbsp slivered almonds
    2 tbsp olive oil
    2 tbsp minced onion
    2 tbsp minced red pepper
    2 tbsp white wine
Preparation
    Blanch green beans in boiling salted water for 3 mins, until tender. Drain and rinse under cool water.
    In a food processor, combine fried onions, breadcrumbs and almonds. Pulse to crumbs. Heat 1 tbsp oil in a frying pan over medium heat, add crumb mixture and cook for 2-3 mins, or until brown and crispy. Remove from pan and let cool.
    Return pan to heat. Add remaining oil and place over medium heat. Cook onion, pepper and wine for 2 mins, or until onion is translucent. Add beans and toss to coat. Season. Garnish with crumb mixture.
