Sausage, Basil And Tomato Pasta - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 tbsp olive oil
    1 lb Italian sausages, casings removed, shaped into small meatballs
    2 sprigs fresh basil
    1 lb cherry tomatoes
    14 oz short pasta, such as fusilli or penne
    7 oz green beans, trimmed, cut into 1 inch pieces
    1.5 oz Parmesan cheese, grated
Preparation
    Preheat broiler.
    Heat oil in a frying pan over high heat. Saute meatballs for 3-4 mins, until browned. Add basil and cook for 1 min. Add tomatoes and 1 cup water. Bring to a boil, reduce heat to low and simmer for 10 mins, until meatballs are cooked through.
    Meanwhile, cook pasta in salted boiling water until al dente. Drain.
    Add green beans to meatballs and cook for 1-2 mins, until tender. Add pasta and toss to combine. Season. Discard basil. Transfer to a large baking dish and sprinkle with Parmesan. Broil for 2-3 mins, until cheese melts. Serve immediately.
