Pea Fritters With Chili Coconut - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 cup desiccated coconut
    2 None fresh long green chilies, thinly sliced
    1 cup all-purpose flour + 2 tbsp
    1 tbsp garam masala
    1 None onion, halved, thinly sliced
    1 cup frozen peas, thawed
    None None vegetable oil, to shallow-fry
Preparation
    Combine coconut and 1/2 cup boiling water. Cover with plastic wrap and set aside for 15 mins, or until water is absorbed. Transfer to a food processor. Add chilies and process until smooth. Set aside.
    Whisk together flour, garam masala and 1 cup water until smooth. Add onion and peas. Season. Heat oil in a large heavy-bottomed saucepan over medium heat. Working in batches, shallow-fry pea mixture (about 1 tbsp at a time) for 4 mins, or until golden brown. Drain on paper towels.
    Serve warm fritters with chilli coconut.
