Mini Caramel Apples - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 None apples, cut into 16 balls using a melon baller
    1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
    1 tbsp butter
    3 tbsp sugar pearl sprinkles
Preparation
    Insert small skewers into the apple balls.
    Caramelize sugar until golden brown then add butter. Allow butter to melt then stir into caramel. Dip each apple ball in hot caramel then into sugar pearls. Let cool on parchment paper.
