Baked Pork Chops With Creamy Leeks - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 tbsp oil
    2 1/2 lb leeks, cut into rings
    3 cups ready made onion soup
    3/4 cup heavy cream
    1 1/2 cups Gouda cheese, shredded
    10 None pork chops, about 6 oz each
    5 None tomatoes, sliced
    5 slices ham
    4-5 sprigs parsley, chopped
Preparation
    Preheat the oven to 325\u00b0F. Heat the oil in a large pan and saute the leeks for about 8 mins. Season with salt and pepper. Add the soup and 1 3/4 cups cold water, bring to a boil, and simmer for about 10 mins. Stir in the cream and 3/4 cup of the cheese.
    Lay the pork chops side by side in a greased baking dish. Top each with a half slice of ham and the tomato slices. Pour over the leek sauce and bake for about 2 hours. About 30 mins before the end of the cooking time, sprinkle over the remaining cheese. Serve sprinkled with the parsley.
