Fruit Sponge Dessert - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 None eggs
    1/2 cup granulated sugar
    1/2 cup pastry flour
    3/4 tsp baking powder
    2 tsp cornstarch
    1 tsp butter, mixed with 2 tbsp boiling water
    1 (28 oz) can peach slices, drained
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0F. Whisk eggs until frothy. Gradually add sugar and whisk until thick and pale. Sift flour, baking powder and cornstarch then fold in. Add butter water mixture. Place peaches in a large casserole dish then cover with batter. Bake for 25-30 mins, until springy when touched lightly.
