Peppered Herb Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 cups cake flour
    2 tsp baking powder
    1 tsp salt
    1/2 tsp ground black pepper
    6 tbsp cold butter, cubed
    2 tbsp minced scallion
    2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley leaves, plus extra leaves for garnish
    1 cup buttermilk
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 450\u00b0F.
    Mix together flour, baking powder, salt and pepper. Cut in butter until butter pieces are the size of peas. Stir in scallion and chopped parsley. Make a well in the center and pour in buttermilk. Blend with a fork until a soft dough forms.
    Turn dough out onto a lightly floured work surface. Pat dough into a 1 inch thick disc. Cut out 2 inch round biscuits and place on a greased baking sheet. Top each biscuit with a parsley leaf. Bake for 10-12 mins, or until light golden brown. Serve warm.
