Beef Tenderloin In Port Marinade - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 tbsp olive oil
2 cloves garlic, crushed
2 tbsp oregano, coarsely chopped
1/4 cup port
3 1/3 lbs beef tenderloin, trimmed
Preparation

Combine oil, garlic, oregano and port in a large bowl; add beef and turn to coat. Cover and refrigerate for 3 hours or overnight.
Preheat oven to 400\u00b0F. Heat a frying pan over high heat and sear beef all over. Transfer to a lightly oiled baking dish and bake for 1 1/2 hours or to desired doneness. Transfer to a plate, cover and rest for 10 mins. Slice thinly and serve.
