Herb And Garlic Sausage - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    24 None thin Italian sausages, linked if possible
    1 None lemon, zest peeled into strips with a zester, 1 tbsp juice
    2 tbsp roughly chopped fresh flat-leaf parsley leaves
    2 tbsp fresh rosemary leaves
    2 None fresh bay leaves, torn
    2 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
    1/2 tsp salt
    1/2 tsp freshly ground black pepper
    2 tsp olive oil
Preparation
    Preheat broil. Coil each length of sausages into a long, tight spiral. Pierce 2 large metal skewers at right angles through each sausage coil to secure.
    In a small bowl, combine lemon zest, lemon juice and remaining ingredients. Sprinkle 1/2 over sausage then broil until browned on top. Flip over and sprinkle with remaining lemon mixture and broil until browned and cooked through.
