Mini Irish Soda Breads - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
    1 tsp baking soda
    1 tsp salt
    1/4 cup granulated sugar
    1/2 cup currants
    2 tbsp buttermilk
    1 3/4 tbsp melted butter
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 375\u00b0F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
    Whisk together flour, baking soda, salt, sugar and currants. Stir in buttermilk until just combined. Transfer to a floured work surface and knead until combined. Shape into 12 balls. Cut an \"X\" in the top of each bun. Brush tops with butter then bake for 12-15 mins, or until golden brown.
