Creamy Turkey And Beef Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    250 ml barbecue sauce
    50 ml maple syrup
    50 ml whiskey
    200 ml whipping cream
    None None Pinch of chilli powder, to taste
    1 kg diced beef casserole
    500 g turkey breast, diced
    3 None mixed red and yellow peppers, deseeded and diced
    3 None onions, peeled and diced
    500 g potatoes, peeled and diced
    10 sprigs fresh marjoram, little reserved for garnish, remaining leaves stripped from stems
    None None Crusty bread and creme fraiche, to serve
Preparation
    To make the soup base, mix the barbecue sauce, maple syrup, whiskey, cream and 1 quart water. Season with salt, black pepper and chili powder to taste.
    Place the beef, turkey, peppers, onions, potatoes and marjoram in a large pot. Pour in the soup base. Cover, bring to a boil and cook over medium heat for 1 hour 30 minutes. Garnish with marjoram and sprinkle with black pepper. Serve with crusty bread and sour cream.
