Love Toffee Apples - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 cups granulated sugar
    1 tsp lemon juice
    None None red food coloring
    4 None apples, with a candy apple skewer inserted into each
Preparation
    Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Place sugar, 5 tbsp water and lemon juice in a saucepan over medium heat. Let caramelize, stirring occasionally. Add food coloring until deep red, then set aside to cool slightly. Coat apples with caramel then transfer to prepared pan and let set.
