Festive Holiday Cupcakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    9 tbsp butter, at room temperature
    3/4 cup sugar
    2 large eggs
    1 tsp vanilla extract
    3 oz dark chocolate chips
    2 1/2 cups self-raising flour, sifted
    1/3 cup milk
    3 oz ready-made marzipan
    None None red and green food coloring
    2 1/2 cups powdered sugar, sifted
    2 tbsp boiling water
    2 tbsp butter
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 375\u00b0F. Line 2 x 6-hole muffin pans with paper liners.
    Cream butter and sugar together until light and fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Add vanilla and chocolate chips.
    Lightly fold flour and milk into butter mixture. Spoon into prepared pans, until holes are three-quarters full. Bake for 12-15 minutes, until a skewer comes out clean. Cool in pan for 5 minutes. Transfer to wire racks to cool.
    Color three-quarters of marzipan green and remaining quarter red. Roll green to a 3mm thickness. Cut out holly leaves. Roll red into balls for berries.
    To make the glaze, place powdered sugar in a bowl. Make a well in center and stir in water and butter, until smooth. Spread on each cake and decorate with marzipan leaves and berries.
