Plum Crumbles - cooking recipe

10 small plums
1/3 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 cup flour
1/2 cup flaked coconut
5 tbsp unsalted butter, chopped
Preparation

Preheat the oven to 350\u00b0F.
Halve the plums; remove pits. Slice the plums; place in a large bowl. Add the granulated sugar; toss until the plums are well coated. Let stand for 10 mins.
Meanwhile, combine brown sugar, flour and coconut in a bowl; rub in the butter.
Stir the plums again to ensure they are well coated. Spoon into six 2/3-cup ramekins or a 1-quart baking dish. Top the plums with the crumble mixture. Place dishes on a baking pan.
Bake for about 30 mins or until golden and the juices are bubbling over the side. Serve warm with whipped cream or ice cream, if desired.
