Millionaire Shortbread Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 cup all purpose flour, sifted
    1/3 cup brown sugar
    1/2 cup shredded coconut
    3/4 cup butter, 1/2 cup melted
    1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk
    2 tbsp maple syrup
    7 oz dark chocolate, chopped
    2 tsp vegetable oil
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0F. Lightly grease an 8 x 12 inch brownie pan. Line base and sides with parchment paper.
    In a bowl, combine flour, sugar and coconut. Make a well in the center and add melted butter, blending well until combined.
    Press mixture firmly into prepared pan. Bake for 15-20 mins until lightly browned. Cool.
    Combine remaining 1/4 cup of butter, condensed milk and syrup in a medium saucepan. Stir over low heat until smooth. Pour over the base. Bake for 15-20 mins until golden. Cool.
    Place chocolate and oil in a double boiler and heat for 4-5 mins until melted and smooth. Spread evenly over caramel.
    Chill until set. Cut into squares. Store in an airtight container.
