Almond Tart - cooking recipe

1 sheet frozen puff pastry, thawed
1 None egg yolk
1/4 cup almond paste
4 None nectarines, pitted, halved and thinly sliced
1/2 cup sliced almonds
None None Whipped cream or vanilla ice cream, to serve
Preparation

Preheat the oven to 425\u00b0F. Lightly grease and line a baking pan with parchment paper.
Trim corners of pastry sheet to make a 9-inch circle. Place on prepared pan. Fold over edges to make a 1/4-inch border. Prick bottom with a fork and brush all over with yolk. Bake 5 mins. Press down puffed up center.
Roll almond paste to 1/8-inch thickness. Cut into strips and space evenly on pastry. Arrange nectarines in a fanned pattern over top. Sprinkle evenly with sliced almonds.
Bake 12-15 mins, until pastry is crisp and nectarines tender. Serve warm with whipped cream or ice cream.
