Lamb Kofta With Chili Tomato And Yogurt Sauce - cooking recipe

2 1/4 lb ground lamb
1 None large Spanish onion, chopped finely
1 clove garlic, minced
1 tbsp ground cumin
2 tsp ground turmeric
2 tsp ground allspice
1 tbsp fresh mint, finely chopped
2 tbsp fresh flat-leaf parsley leaves, finely chopped
1 None large egg, beaten lightly
-1 None Yogurt Sauce
3/4 cup low-fat yogurt
1 tbsp fresh flat-leaf parsley leaves, finely chopped
-1 None Tomato Chili Sauce
1/4 cup ketchup
1/4 cup chili sauce
6 None pita breads, quartered
Preparation

Combine lamb, onion, garlic, spices, herbs and egg in a large bowl. Divide into 18 portions then mold each around skewers to form sausage shapes.
Preheat grill and oil grates. Grill kofta until browned on both sides and cooked to your liking.
Meanwhile, to make the yogurt sauce, combine yogurt and parsley in a small bowl.
To make the chili tomato sauce, combine ketchup and chili sauce in a small bowl.
Serve kofta with pita bread, yogurt sauce and chili tomato sauce.
