Dumplings With Quick Bolognese Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    750 g dumpling dough
    1 None onion, peeled and finely diced
    2 cloves garlic, peeled and finely chopped
    1 tbsp olive oil
    500 g minced meat
    1 tbsp tomato puree
    2 cans (425g each) chunky tomatoes
    1/2 bunch basil, finely chopped
Preparation
    Using wet hands form about 16 dumplings (1 inch in diameter) from the dough. Cook for 18-20 mins in boiling salted water.
    To make the sauce, heat oil in a saucepan and saute onion and garlic for 2-3 mins. Add ground beef and fry for 4-5 mins. Stir in tomato puree. Add canned tomatoes and 1/4 cup water. Bring to a boil and simmer for about 10 mins. Season.
    Stir chopped basil into the sauce. Arrange 4 dumplings on each plate and top with sauce. Garnish with chopped basil.
