Fettucine Seafood Marinara - cooking recipe

14 oz fettuccine
2 tbsp olive oil
1 None onion, finely chopped
3 cloves garlic, crushed
1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
7 oz large shrimp, peeled and deveined, tails intact
7 oz thick white fish fillets, such as bream or sea bass, cut into cubes
1 None calamari, cleaned, cut into rings
3 cups tomato puree
1 None lemon, peel grated and lemon juiced
4 None mussels, scrubbed
None None Chopped parsley, to serve
Preparation

Cook fettuccine in a large saucepan of boiling, salted water according to package directions. Drain.
Meanwhile, heat half of oil in a large skillet on medium heat. Cook onion for 3 mins, stirring, until soft. Add garlic, red pepper flakes and shrimp and cook for 3 mins, stirring, until shrimp are pink. Remove from pan.
Heat remaining oil in same pan on high heat. Cook fish and calamari for 3 mins, until golden. Return shrimp mixture to pan with tomato puree, lemon peel and juice. Bring to a boil. Add mussels and simmer gently, covered, for about 5 mins, just until mussels open.
Reduce heat to low. Add fettuccine and toss together for 1 min, until heated through. Serve sprinkled with parsley.
