Zucchini, Ham And Scallion Scones - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 None medium zucchini, grated
    2 1/2 cups self-rising flour
    2 tbsp butter, chopped
    2.5 oz cheddar, grated
    4.25 oz sliced ham, finely chopped
    2 None scallions, finely chopped
    1 cup milk
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 425\u00b0F. Lightly grease a baking sheet.
    Place grated zucchini on paper towels and squeeze out excess moisture.
    Sift flour into a large bowl. Rub in butter lightly using fingertips. Stir in zucchini, cheese, ham and scallion. Season to taste.
    Make a well in center of flour mixture. Pour in milk all at once. Using a bread and butter knife, mix quickly to a soft, sticky dough. Do not over-mix.
    Tum onto a lightly floured surface. Knead gently. Press or roll out to form a round about 3/4 inch thick. Place on tray and score into 8 wedges.
    Bake for 20-25 minutes, until scones sound hollow when tapped. Cool on a wire rack.
