Bundt Cake With Apples - cooking recipe

5 None eggs, separated
2/3 cups sugar
3 None egg yolks
3/4 cup all purpose flour
3 1/2 tbsp cornstarch
2 None apples, peeled, cored and cut into small pieces
None None powdered sugar and cocoa powder, for dusting
Preparation

Preheat the oven to 350\u00b0F. Whisk the egg whites with 3 tbsp water until they form soft peaks, then beat in the sugar in gradually. Beat all the egg yolks separately, then fold into the whites. Sift the flour and cornstarch into the egg mix and stir gently. Carefully stir in the apple pieces.
Grease a 12 cup bundt pan and dust with flour. Pour in the cake mixture and bake for about 40 mins. Remove from the oven and leave in the pan for 10 mins. Gently remove from the pan and leave to cool on a wire rack. Serve dusted with powdered sugar and cocoa powder. Serve with sour cream on the side (optional).
