Blue Cheese Twists - cooking recipe

1 1/3 cups all-purpose flour
1/4 cup self-rising flour
1/2 tsp salt
4 1/2 tbsp butter, finely chopped
4 oz firm blue cheese, grated
5 oz grated Cheddar cheese
1 None large egg yolk
1 pinch paprika
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0F. Grease 2-3 baking trays.
Sift flour and salt into a large bowl. Cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse breadcrumbs then stir in cheese. Add egg yolk and 3 tsp water. Mix until combined. Turn out onto a floured work surface and knead until smooth. Cover and chill for 30 mins.
Roll dough out into a rectangle about 1/8 inch thick. Cut into strips 4 inches long by 1/3 inch wide. Twist each strip then place about 3/4 inch apart on baking trays. Sprinkle lightly with paprika. Bake for 20 mins, or until lightly browned. Let cool on trays. Serve.
