Smoked Ham And German Sausage With Kale And Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 kg kale
    2 None onions, peeled and finely diced
    30 g lard
    350 ml vegetable stock
    600 g smoked ham joint
    750 g new potatoes
    4 None mettwurst (German sausages), cooked
    2 tbsp clarified butter
    1 tbsp sugar
    30 g oatmeal
    1 pinch allspice
Preparation
    Blanch the kale briefly in boiling water. Drain, let it cool and chop coarsely. Heat the lard in a saucepan and saute the onions. Add the kale and stock, bring it to a boil and simmer for about 1 hour. Add the ham after 30 mins and add the sausages and cook for 20 mins .
    Cook the potatoes for 20 mins in boiling water. Drain, rinse in cold water and peel them. Heat the clarified butter in a frying pan and fry the potatoes until golden all over. Season them to taste and sprinkle them with sugar and caramelize.
    Take the ham and sausages from the stock and add the oatmeal. Cook for 5 mins while stirring. Slice the ham and sausage and return them to the stock. Season the kale with salt and allspice to taste and serve the ham, sausage, kale and potatoes on plates, with some mustard on the side.
